Our chefs buy all of our produce from the best suppliers and where possible, source seasonal organic fruit and vegetables.
We pay particular attention to nutritional requirements, maximising vitamin and mineral content, minimising fats and salt intake in dishes whilst providing innovative and creative menu options.
To ensure our style of food and delivery is benchmarked against the best, company representatives regularly attend industry events and are members of various industry and culinary associations which provides the opportunity to gain valuable insights from our peers.
During various events throughout the year, our chefs work alongside high profile Australian restaurant chefs on various projects including Curtis Stone, George Calombaris and Frank Camorra.
We also have an exclusive catering partnership with Mark 'The Black' Olive, Australia's most acclaimed Aboriginal chef, who we consult with and plan menus that have contemporary indigenous flavours.
Menu Variety
We offer all of our clients an incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise in producing a variety of high quality food and beverages.
Our kitchen brigade draws on tried and tested recipes and regularly create new ideas for functions, weddings, private events and retail outlets such as our restaurants and cafés.
There are a huge range of menus we have designed for clients including many multicultural events, Asian wedding banquets, indigenous-inspired cocktail parties and other themed dinner parties and events.
Peter Rowland Catering also works with a recommended kosher caterer to produce menus for kosher weddings and are familiar with the importance of traditions such as horas, hamoitze and sheva brachot at events.
Matching Beverages
Our in house qualified sommelier creates an extensive beverage list and package option each year to ensure we provide clients with a contemporary and diverse beverage offer.
If you have an alternative preference for wines, we can work with you to tailor a matched food and wine experience for your menu. Our Event Planners would be more than happy to assist with this option.
In keeping with our sustainability commitment, our beverage packages comprise of over 80% Australian wines, with almost 50% sourced from local Victorian suppliers. For the second year in a row, we are pleased to offer Elgo Estate wines on our beverage list, a market leader in the production of sustainable wine.
