Community Partnerships
Peter Rowland Catering has supported programs within the Melbourne community and various not-for-profit organisations for over 48 years.
To successfully monitor the social impact of our products and business operations, we regularly work with Sacred Heart Mission and Second Bite. This assists in understanding the challenges that local community members face each day and gives us the chance to support people in need.
Peter Rowland Catering receives many great suggestions of ways to help the community. Our intention is to focus on meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships which fit our business objectives and is of a benefit to our existing stakeholders.
These partnerships are reviewed yearly and have been set for the financial year ending 2011. Please check back for more information.
Preferred Charities
We have developed relationships with the community sector and not-for-profit organisations and are proud of our association with each and every one. Some of the charitable organisations we work with include:
- Anglicare Victoria - exists to protect the vulnerable in the Melbourne community.
- Marysville Triangle Community - supporting our local community after Black Saturday.
- Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre - funding of new cancer care centres in Australia.
- Sacred Heart Mission - assist people who are homeless or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support.
- Second Bite - a not-for-profit organisation that sources fresh, nutritious food and redistributes it to people who are homeless or living in disadvantaged circumstances within the community.
