NGV Australia is the world’s first public art museum dedicated solely to Australian art. Curators have drawn from the National Gallery of Victoria’s collection of around 22,000 Australian works to present permanent and temporary exhibitions. The NGV Australia provides a unique opportunity for Australians to see, enjoy and learn about their own art in a fresh way and a new context.
