The Southern Star observation wheel is Australia’s first and only observation wheel. Located in Docklands, the 120 metre high wheel will become a Melbourne icon and mark a new gateway to Melbourne.

Scheduled for take off in November 2008, Southern Star will change the city skyline forever. With 21 air-conditioned, walk-around cabins, guests will fly high for a unique and unforgettable 30 minute experience.

Catering for functions and events will take on a new meaning with orbiting cabins, the luxurious Star Room and the expansive outdoor Star Piazza. From Cupid Cabins for two, to dinners for 280 and stand up breakfasts for 1000, celebrations of all kinds are destined to be a unique talking point.
