Gardens House – Angela & Ryan
It seems Angela & Ryan were always meant to be, even if they didn’t yet know it.
The couple first caught sight of each other 18 years ago at the school gate and then spent the next few years bumping into each other at various friends parties and even in the QANTAS lounge in Hong Kong. None of these signs, however, were quite enough for the couple and it wasn’t until they independently moved to London for work, that they crossed paths again and they finally gave in to fate.
After tying the knot in a Toorak church the couple and their guests made their way to the stunning Gardens House, tucked away in the Royal Botanic Gardens. As the bridal party headed off into the gardens for photos with the talented Tania Savage, the guests enjoyed scrumptious canapés and bubbles on the rear lawn whilst a Spanish guitarist strummed tunes under the trees.
Angela and Ryan planned almost the whole affair from their home base in London but had a very clear vision for their breathtaking marquee wedding under the stars. Angela’s brief was simple elegance and by using a mix of Australian and UK designers we think she nailed it.
The couple couldn’t have been happier with their big day and felt so blessed to be surrounded by all of their closest friends and family. When asked what the highlight of the day was for her and Ryan, Angela said “Our first dance together and sneaking out of the marquee together for a few minutes to enjoy some time alone together and watch our amazing midsummer night party under the stars.”
After all the dancing, drinking and laughter came to an end, the couple jetted off to Bora Bora for a romantic honeymoon in one of the most beautiful and romantic places on earth. We would have expected nothing less from this fairy tale couple.
