Gardens House – Lisa & Andrew

Lisa & Andrew met 14 years ago unexpectedly on a night out with friends at a pub in South Melbourne, their love story worthy of a movie begining. Over the next 13 years they moved to the UK, travelled through 44 countries, moved back to Australia, bought a house and then started their next big adventure together, married life.

Lisa knew from the very start when choosing a wedding venue, that she wanted to have all of her celebrations in the same place so she wouldn’t have to miss a second of the fun, saying “Having the ceremony and reception together in the one amazing location allowed us to celebrate to the fullest with our loved ones.”The love birds opted for an intimate wedding ceremony on the front lawn of Gardens House followed by a casual and charming cocktail party in the gardens at the rear of the house. Lisa chose to bring in all white furniture and flowers which contrasted perfectly against the vibrant colours of the gardens themselves, when deciding on how to style the gorgeous venue.

The house was filled with personal touches of this couple’s long standing love story for all their guests to enjoy, many of which Lisa had made herself, including the props for the photo booth and the photo frames.

Guests thoroughly enjoyed dining on delicious canapés and a sumptuous dessert buffet whilst dancing the night away under the stars and magical festoon lighting. The newly weds then made their way around to all of their guests to thank them before heading off on their honeymoon to South East Asia, adding a few more stamps to their already full passports.
