David Jones elevates in store dining experience

David Jones has today announced an exciting development in its food offering with the launch of a new, multi-faceted in-store dining offering available at the department store’s iconic Food Hall locations. The offering, which can be found in the David Jones Elizabeth Street Flagship and Bondi Junction store from today, is set to create a more immersive and elevated experience for customers to enjoy.
Partnering with premium hospitality company Peter Rowland Catering Group, the 13 unique dining options available across both Sydney David Jones food hall locations will reimagine the food offering for customers.
In the Bondi Junction store, at the Oyster Bar on lower ground, customers can enjoy an indulgent celebration of the finest seafood and champagne. The elegant, food stop offers a variety of premium oysters from different estuaries and locations, as well as a large range of premium champagne, wine and spirits.
Adjacent is the soon to open restaurant Lucullan, that will be a true champion of the Peter Rowland innovation with offers from the Sea, the Farm, and the Land in line with the changing seasons of fashion. It is sure to be a destination of choice.
The star of the Elizabeth Street food hall is the authentic Asian cuisine from Modu. Located in a more formal dining setting on lower ground, the menu will host a large variety of Chinese influenced dishes for a truly memorable meal.
Peter’s Brasserie, a nod to the partnership, features a classic menu for its all-day dining offering. Peter’s Brasserie offers attentive and professional service across both stores. The menu which is designed to meet a variety of diners demands, includes a range of breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack and dinner options.
In addition to the above, baked goods from The Bakery, sushi plates from Menukidori, fresh fruit juices from Squeeze and Crush, organic produce from Harvest, healthy salads and drinks from Patch, hot food from Paddock, and delicious street food from Flavour will be available to purchase.

To accompany the Food Hall menu upgrades, the iconic department stores premium pantry range will also see a further expansion both in store and online adding to the elevated food offering at David Jones stores across the country.
David Jones’ partnership with Peter Rowland Group will also see the café at the David Jones Malvern store relaunch as a Sensory Lab Venue in the coming weeks and also extends to the renowned food business becoming the premium food and beverage partner for events and customer activations, including the Grey Goose bar pop-up now operating on Level 7 at the Elizabeth St Flagship in the heart of the women’s shoe floor.
As part of the latest food offering, David Jones customers will now be able to order premium pre-prepared Christmas meal feasts for click and collect or home delivery via Peter Rowland Group. The pre-prepared meals, which are perfect for festive entertaining, will give customers a taste of the elevated David Jones Food Hall experience at home and will be available to order from today.
