Just pudding it out there…it’s Christmas with Melissa Penfold

The entire Peter Rowland team adore Christmas so when we have the opportunity to collaborate with somebody who loves the festive season it doubles our Christmas pleasure.

Crowned the ‘Queen of Style’ by the Australian media, journalist, author and tastemaker Melissa Penfold is one of the country’s foremost authorities on style and entertaining. She has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands including Wedgwood, B&B Italia and Kartell, published numerous books on style and design and her lifestyle blog Melissa Penfold has a cult following around the world.

A consummate hostess and famous for her artful tablescapes, we asked Melissa to put her own stylish spin on our Festive Feasting menu. With characteristic generosity Melissa opened up her enchanting French inspired country house in the NSW southern highlights for our photo shoot. The home’s interiors, which frequently feature on her blog and social media posts are a gorgeous curation of grand antiques and vintage finds from around the world, grounded with bowls of flowers, fruits and vegetables fresh from her garden.
