The Countdown to Christmas is on!
It’s been a long time coming but we can finally celebrate the festive season with a little more confidence, and plan the perfect catch up with colleagues.
This year the outdoor / indoor event is certainly the most popular option – so we thought we’d highlight two of our great spaces that deliver the ideal COVID safe event space, complimented by the incomparable quality and service you’d expect to find at any PRG event.
Butler Lane
Tucked away in Richmond, Butler Lane is our converted warehouse space with an expansive courtyard for the perfect indoor / outdoor event.
With capacity for up to 150 seated guests, the venue boasts a range of inclusive features (unlike most Melbourne warehouse venues where you need to bring in everything from the chairs to the glassware!) so all you need to worry about is whether to bring a live band or DJ to pump out the tunes.
Venue Highlight:
You can’t go past this courtyard – celebrate in a casual, urban setting that’s reminiscent of a friend’s super slick backyard. Everyone knows house parties are the best – but all the action is always out the back! The impressive Bose sound system (installed throughout the venue) means you only need a smartphone and a great Spotify playlist to get the party started. All that’s left to do is dance the night away under the string of festoons and the stars above.

Our BBQ packages. Set up in the courtyard, add a few Spritz cocktails to the beverage menu, and finish off with a visit from Mr. Whippy or the Messina Gelato cart.
For a more traditional spread, you can’t go past our Festive Menu featuring:

Abbotsford Convent
New to the PRG portfolio, this arts precinct is bustling with an array of unique venues that include former industrial laundries, galleries, outdoor courtyards, and restored event spaces (Rosina Function Space) to seat up to 150 guests.
The convent also boasts extensive gardens and outdoor spaces to create a relaxed picnic vibe.
Venue Highlight:
The adjoining courtyard off our exclusive Rosina function space allows you to set up outside amongst the lush greenery and glittering festoons. Activate the courtyard for an intimate bottomless brunch, a long lunch (for up to 40 guests), or a late night dance floor under the stars.
