Vendor Spotlight – Little Bird Design Studio

Your wedding invitations are the first insight your guests will receive about your big day. Keeping this in mind, it is so important to ensure you select the right stationary to tie everything together, from your Save The Dates to your thank you cards.

We recently chatted with Tania Savage from Little Bird Design Studio to ask her what she thinks is most important when choosing a stationer. Tania, who is highly creative and a self confessed font geek, had been looking for the right stationary for her own wedding 15 years ago, however after not being able to find what she was looking for, Tania designed and printed her own. Within 5 years she had a fully fledged stationary company to add to her design portfolio.

When asked what led her to wedding stationary, Tania says “I’ve been designing in many capacities throughout my career and like to do things a little differently. Sign writing, web site design, print design, but it’s wedding stationary that is my true love. Weddings are so inspirational and there are so many elements of design to use in wedding stationary. Colour, fashion, illustration, fonts, art, photography. There’s always an idea for something fresh and new.” Tania also suggests you insist on receiving printed samples to ensure it is of the highest standard.

Your invitation will most likely be stuck to someone’s fridge for quite some time, make it sensational.
