Also known as ‘All Saints Eve,’ ‘All Hallows Eve’ and ‘El Dia de Los Muertos’ (Day of the Dead), Halloween is a celebration with pagan roots dating back over 2000 years. In ancient Celtic times, the festival was called Samhain and celebrated the end of the “lighter half” of the year and beginning of the “darker half” in the northern hemisphere.
