Wedding of the Month – Gardens House – Amy & Dean

Despite all the planning that goes into the perfect wedding, there are some things that cannot be controlled, like the weather. So, when Dean woke up on the morning of his big day to look out the window and see grey skies, his heart sank. He was determined however to ensure the day would be just as Amy had planned and worked so hard for.

Dean put on his suit and headed down to the cutest of all Melbourne wedding venues, Gardens House, where he rolled his sleeves up and got right to work, ensuring everything would be as perfect as his soon-to-be wife had envisioned. Through sheer will power or simply the fact this is Melbourne, the heavy skies subsided eventually allowing the sun to shine, giving Dean and the team at Gardens House just long enough to get everything into position in time for Amy’s arrival, leaving her none the wiser of the events earlier that day.

A relieved groom got himself into position, and with eyes brimming with happiness, waited for his stunning bride to appear. As Amy made her way towards the man of her dreams their love spread throughout their guests and in every direction there were wide grins and tears of happiness. The gorgeous couple, unable to take their eyes off each other, finished their vows in front of a stunning teepee, created by Events by Kate, and shared their first kiss as man and wife.

As the couple wandered through the gardens with their bridal party and talented photographer, Pierre Curry, their guests mingled with bubbles in hand and exchanged stories of the couple and their immeasurable love. As the sun began to set, the festoon lighting shone brightly above the guests heads as they danced under the stars.

Just as the evening looked like it couldn’t get any better, Amy and Dean began their first dance, holding each other tightly and swaying slowly under the clear night sky. Then, without a word of warning, but with all the grace of Patrick Swayze, Dean lifted his bride above him as they smiled at each other. It was clear to everyone this was a fairytale kind of romance.
