Gardens House – Emily & Peter

Emily and Peter were married on a beautiful Spring afternoon of 2013 at the gorgeous Gardens House, located in a private area of the picturesque Royal Botanic Gardens. Anna Bryers conducted the wedding ceremony with the couple exchanging vows in front of close friends and family in a shady alcove on the front lawn.

These cute little pew ends were put together by Leigh Clark, the theme of the wedding transferring from the garden ceremony right through the reception.

Before the ceremony, the bride and groom took time to wander the beautiful spring gardens with photographer Shane Reid of Fotonaut so as they could enjoy celebrations with their guests immediately after exchanging vows.

This spectacular marquee, erected on the rear lawn of Gardens House was put together by The Marquee People, with the beautifully styled furniture provided by Place Settings

Leigh Clark did an extraordinary job of decorating the marquee reception area with these beautiful hanging arrangements.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Emily and Peter welcomed each guest individually as they made their way through the house to the back lawn area for the cocktail reception.

Guests dined on a large selection of hot and cold canapés including these delicious minted broad bean and goats curd tartlets.

A fun cup cake tiered wedding cake was provided by The Cup Cake Queens which were given to guests at the end of the night to take home.

Guests were able to dance the night away under the stars after the bride and groom opened the dance floor with a traditional first dance.
