Melbourne Museum – Kathryn & Nick
It’s the simple pleasures in life that make everything worth while, and it’s the simple pleasures that Kathryn and Nick wanted to focus on for their big day. The bridal party took a casual stroll from the couples home through the Carlton Gardens and up to the Melbourne Museum, one of the most unique Melbourne wedding venues.
The couple shared an intimate ceremony in the Mind and Body gallery of Melbourne Museum, situated in front of a stunning pyramid of elegant white flowers and said their “I do’s” to the tune of an acoustic guitar. The guests then enjoyed canapés and a glass of sparkling whilst mingling and wandering through the fascinating exhibits in the gallery space.
The reception itself was everything Kathryn and Nick had hoped for. The entire evening was filled with laughter, dancing, fabulous food and of course plenty of love. “We wanted a relaxed atmosphere to celebrate with everyone and we were so happy with the outcome”, Kathryn said.
As the DJ played into the night the newly-weds shared their first dance under the spectacular Te Pasifika exhibit of traditional canoes hung high from the gallery’s ceiling. What a wonderful night and thank you for letting us be a part of it.
