Melbourne Museum – Linda & Ryan

On a party bus tour and roaming the streets of Melbourne, two very unsuspecting, and potentially tipsy, people met. They had no idea at the time that their rowdy night out was going to lead to true love. Linda and Ryan wanted something a little bit left of centre for their big day, and when hunting for a Melbourne wedding venue, they couldn’t go past the quirky charm of the Melbourne Museum.

The couple opted to have their ceremony in one of the most unique spaces in the museum, Kalaya. Hidden from sight at the top of the stunning timber spiral walkway, Linda and her father waited nervously for the exact moment she could make her way down to her excited groom. The beautiful bride was personally met with smiles, tears of happiness & laughter by each and every one of their guests as she made her way down the winding aisle and towards the man of her dreams.

The couple, beaming from ear to ear and with their loved ones watching from above, shared their touching vows before exchanging their first kiss as husband and wife. With congratulations all around the couple headed off to have photos throughout the museum whilst their guests headed up to Treetops for the reception. The entire evening was just as relaxed as this gorgeous couple, with bubbles and canapés circling late into the night and all topped off by a rustically styled dessert station.

Thank you from the team at Peter Rowland for choosing to share your big day with us.
